We are a group of over 500 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients, and caregivers from around the world. That is how we had the honour
of "meeting" the Martin family, and sharing in their joy, and their grief. The internet is a great thing,
and has allowed us to connect through our support group at Yahoogroups. We even meet in person at lymphoma conventions, and
our own social gatherings occasionally. Our support group allows us to share our experiences, discuss new
and inovative treatments, keep track of clinical trials, and share support, love and encouragement. In this day and age of
rapid medical progress, a trip to your local library to read a ten year old book, based on 10 year old studies just doesn't
work. Our group allows us all to share the current and cutting edge information we learn from our doctors, and our own research.
We actually have two important web sites. The main one is our actual "Group" site on Yahoo. This is where
our messages are posted, and this is where you can go to join us. We also have some other goodies on our group site.
The second one is our "Cyberfamily" web page. This web site is maintained by one of our members and contains
all kinds of great information about lymphoma, excellent links to the information lymphoma patients want most, pictures of
us, and more. New members, whether patients or family or friends of patients are always welcome to join our group.
Our support group is e-mail based, and you can choose to receive individual messages, a daily digest, or receive
no mail at all and just read the messages from the web site. At our web site you will also find many links to good research
sites, pictures of some of our members, and lots more. Come on over and visit us by clicking the link below.
